Hello there,
Welcome to this month's edition of the Include Digital Digest, your monthly round-up of industry news, trivia and viral.
Life: not so good for some...
Video sharing gorilla YouTube has been busy winning absolutely no friends whilst influencing plenty.
Pakistan blocked its citizens from accessing the site due to alleged blasphemous content,
leading to a worldwide blackout. It's causing plenty of controversy elsewhere.
Toshiba has also had a month to forget. Its red-headed stepchild, the HD-DVD disc, died an undignified death at the hands of the all conquering Blu-ray. With video downloads and streaming
on the increase, you may as well take a hammer to your DVD player now.
...far better for others
Yahoo! and Google are continuing their push for web dominance with the launch of two new services,
named Buzz
and Sites respectively.
Good news too from the internet's Robert Mugabe, Microsoft; they've finally committed to support web standards
in Internet Explorer 8. Bless...
Kisses from Hackney xxx
